The PNTC is a cross-industry group that focuses on the technology, regulatory and policy issues which relate to the current and future global PNT roadmap. The group also leads on assessing the development and investment opportunities available within the infrastructure domain and the exploration of emerging applications and services enabled by location based technologies.
Martin said: “I am delighted to be elected as vice-chair of the joint UK Space and Tech UK Position, Navigation & Timing Committee (PNTC). Both these trade bodies are important in the UK technology and science fields, so to be elected by your peers, and recognised experts in the PNT field, is quite humbling. I look forward to working with everyone whilst engaging, promoting and lobbying as required to represent members’ interests.”
