Telespazio UK is a world leader in space operations capability and our wider Group capability encompasses Ground Station Services, Satellite Operations, Space Situational Awareness and complex logistics analysis.


In the UK, our operations activities are focused on the provision of Earth Observation and Climate services. These include data provision, but also the analysis of the quality of the data and wider information services. This is very important, since these information products are reaching a huge global community and our expertise is trusted by organisations such as the European Space Agency and the European Commission to ensure their quality and fitness-for-purpose.

Service Provision

Telespazio UK is experienced in developing, managing and maintaining  services to customers across the whole space industry value chain.
Instrument Data Evaluation and Analysis Service (IDEAS+) Quality Assurance for Earth Observation (QA4EO) service

Telespazio UK heads a consortium that provides the current operational service to monitor the quality of Earth Observation instrument data from ESA satellites and selected third party missions.
Sea Surface Temperature & Ozone CDR Production

As part of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), Telespazio UK established and operated an important operational service which was responsible for the brokering and generation of gridded Sea Surface Temperature (SST) Climate Data Records for C3S users.
Evaluation and Quality Control for Sectoral Information Systems

Telespazio UK is the prime contractor for the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts’s (ECMWF) Evaluation and Quality Control (EQC) for Sectoral Information Systems (SIS) project, which has the responsibility of evaluating the fitness-for-purpose, reliability, user relevance and quality of the SIS contracts within the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S).
